Ideally situated in the heart of downtown Bend, the former United States Post Office building is getting a new life as a boutique hotel. Steeped in historic charm, this 1932 architectural gem will be restored to its former glory, preserving its unique classical and art deco features, while seamlessly blending in contemporary design touches that complement Bend’s character. A quintessential setting for adventure enthusiasts, nature lovers, and those seeking a rejuvenating escape, the new hotel will include seven lower-level units with private patios and sixteen upper-level units, each with its own spa bathroom, a computer work station, and a wet bar. Construction for this project is expected to begin in the first half of 2024.
