EUGENE QUEEN ANNE

Built almost 125 years ago in Eugene Oregon this 1901 Queen Anne’s home originally just had farmland separating it from the University of Oregon campus.  Much has changed in the many years since, but this home affectionally named “Wally” has found new life after being rebuilt almost entirely from the ground up.  When purchased the character from the inside had been stripped out as well as it teetered on a failing foundation and lacked functioning systems.  It held so much promise in its petite soaring rooms filled with sunlight, its beautiful timeworn original wood stairway and an unusual 2nd floor “barn” ceiling. Through 2 years of restoration work it has been filled back in with loads of playful touches, painstakingly recreated original details and a warm, eclectic mixture of furniture.
