ALAMEDA COLONIAL

This kitchen remodel embodies the word “hub”. All family activity here centers around the joy of gathering with loved ones, preparing food together and relishing time with each other. Situated in a colonial home, it needed some elegant touches to flow with the rest of the house, but also a hint of fun and warmth to add some new energy to the space. Details like a fun marble tile, brass hardware and a wall of windows add character.  A beautiful but under-utilized wood paneled office got re-imagined as a mudroom and is now the primary entry for the family.
